Nightshade

scattered the scent of a sweet potato

crimson liquid etched within the roots

flays the shell under the willow

scatter the scent of a sweet potato

Unveils a belladonna wearing a halo

diffused with delirium, surrounding fruits

scattered the scent of a sweet potato

crimson liquid etched within the roots

Notes

Ayo! I'm kind of proud with this poem! Shiiii. First of all, this is the triolet style. It's complicated so if you don't know the style just google it. This was hard to make because the style is too limited but I still wanted to challenge myself by adding the symbolic + abstract vibes. I'm not sure if I attained it but this was pretty good. There's so many layers within the poem that you have to search the history of the few words to understand my message. Like a garlic, I really wanted to add more layers but the style is too limited. Hey, maybe next time hehe.
