Poem #11 (March 13, 2024)

Rafter

the pillow sheds its skin while the sheet spreads itself

with creature laid down to the endless of no sleep

for gushing reverie in the night, starts awake

till cravings of eunoia begets the solace

Notes

The alexandrine style. 12 syllables each line. It's an interesting style, it encouraged me to make an abstract poem due it's big syllable. I also wanted to make it abstract like the poems that'll make you scratch your head but I think this poem can be easily understood. Next time I might go full on symbolic + abstract hehe.
