Entropy

Amidst the thoughts of one's mind

There lies a hallucination in disguise

Like an entropy twisting the fabric of catastrophe

A dread of feelings deluding of meanings

Can we truly control our own bind?

Can we escape our own mind?

The delusions we fabricate looking for signs

When our hearts would only need a remind

Truly, if only we could read minds

All the confusion would cease

Like the clouds floating with ease

How do we stop? When do we start?

My Notes

My first poem in this challenge. Poems are easy to make if it's free verse. This one took me about 15-30 mins. Free verse is really good when I don't have enough time throughout the day. I do wanna study different types of poems so that it would be more fun and challenging. Maybe Haiku for the next poem? Or Sonnet.. Who knows. Maybe I would be making my own formula for the vibes too. That'd be fun. I always love adding a little bit of cryptography, so stay tuned with that kind of poems.
